Location
This hotel is to be found in castle known as the Castelinho (meaning small castle). It was built at the request of King D. Sebastião in an exclusive location. The castle is surrounded by tall walls, parts of which remain today as ruins. The characteristic features of the castle has remained intact and the still flew the Portuguese flag up until quite recently. The castle lies in the historic part of Angra, which has been designated a world heritage site by UNESCO. The city centre is situated within 300 m of the hotel.

The hotel has 29 rooms, including 28 double rooms, which are located on 3 storeys and are reachable by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. A safe, a TV room and a conference room are available. Wireless internet access (for a fee) allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park.
