This hotel is located in the heart of Stanley and is one of the leading country hotels in Scotland. It lies in an idyllic position above the River Tay, the gateway to the Scottish Highlands, with the tree-lined sweeping lawns that lead to the river providing an excellent backdrop. The Scottish Highlands and Perthshire offer some of the finest scenery in Scotland, while in 25 minutes guests can reach shops, restaurants, bars, and nightclubs. It is around an hour by car to Edinburgh, while Scone Palace and Dunkeld are some 25 minutes away. The hotel is an ideal location for those wishing to take day trips to Fort William, Edinburgh, or Perth. Numerous sights lie within easy reach of the hotel, such as St. Andrews, Loch Ness, Pitlochry, Royal Deeside, Speyside and Aviemore. The nearest public transport stops can be reached within 10 minutes, as can the lovely tourist centre of Blairgowrie. From the hotel, it is about 80 km to Edinburgh Airport, 125 km to Glasgow International Airport, and some 170 km to Dyce Airport.
